What HU is that? Looks clean! I would assume it doesn't have gps since I see the portable up on top. If that's the case, that's cool because I have a separate gps already so don't need it in my HU.

 

ya I tried to sell it to get one that has it built in but it's just easier to keep these two.
I'm painting it all flat black maybe this weekend, need to sand prime and throw some paint on it.

How do you get the gauge surround off and the steering wheel pieces off?

 

Just pull the gauge cluster and for the steering wheel controls you need T30 tip to remove the air bag and then you'll be able to get to the screws that are holding the controls in place.

Side Note : Anyone have an easy fix as to closing the door with an aftermarket HU with a little ****? I figure I could dremel the door, but I wanted to keep it as a last resort.
