called the dealership, and spoke the CRM, explained my whole entire story to her, so she told me she was going to go talk to the guy who helped me, which was the service manager, and call me back. she calls me back and tells me that he said theres nothing else he can do, that his hands are tied because he allready replaced the rims at no cost for me, and the he supp. had a technician with him in his office, and he even said theres no way to 100% avoid and that things like that happen and that they happen alllll the time. so she told me what they said i could do is next time im in for service (which there wont be a next time) that they will put this stuff on the scratches called "never dull"?!?! she said it basically covers up the scratches, but doesnt REMOVE them. i told her thats still not eliminating the problem, and she said the service manager said hes done all he can do! i asked her if he just expects me to just deal with the fact that i brought my car in for service, they scratched the rims, and now i just have to deal with it. and all she said was "sorry mam" so i called scion corporate! spoke to a women who apologized and the whole nine yards, told her my story AGAIN lol, and she said that i'll deff. be recieving a call back within one business day in regards to what i guess corporate is going to do! so i will keep you all posted on my rims.....as for my damage to the car.....lol ya gotta wait on that too! i go to have the pictures taken today, so ill let you all know how that one works out!

Yeah, keep us updated. It sucks that you had to go all the way to Corporate to solve your problem with your rims! That's why I don't trust dealers at all. All I do is buy cars from them, nothing else.

I feel for you though, girl!

ya, i usually dont ither, but my dad, who normally rotates my tires and does my oil changes has been out of town on work alot lately, so it was more convient to have the dealership do it, esp since the oil change was free, i allready told the CRM i wont ever be bringing my car back there for service!

I think the problem is that the grease monkeys at the dealership don't know how to take off wheels without air tools. Sure it's tough to use an impact wrench on these wheels without nicking them up a bit, but if they would use a manual lug wrench like they should be, this problem would be completely avoided.

OMG thank you so much! thats exactly what my dad said, and thats what i said to the CRM, that it was really just an act of carelessness on there part! because if they would of spent a little bit more time, doing it the right way, this would of never happened int the first place! and on all my other cars that my dad has rotated the tires, he always used a manual lug wrench! i said to my dad jokingly, maybe we should call up parts and services, have em get me another new set of rims, have them mount the tires on em w/e and then give every one in the service department a 101 lesson on, if you do it the right way you wont scract the rim, and have them all watch! lol

went and got a quote from my insurance agency yesterday for my 1st accident lol, nyways they estimated it like $200 less than what my dealership said theyd charge, and it turned out, my dealership is one of the places they use for repairs! how ironic! cuz the dealership told me itd cost like $657, and Allstate said $451, so we will see what will happen! it obviously doesnt pay to pay my $500 deductable! i cant even file for it anyways lol! the front bumper the guy said, would prolly cost under $400, so thats alot better than actually havin to replace the WHOLE front bumper! nyways ill keep you all posted!

I'm not sure you understand what a deductible means. If your deductible is $500, that just means you pay the first $500 of the repair out of your pocket before the insurance takes over. If your repair bill is $100, then you just pay the bill....$100. This is the most common reason why the small stuff usually isn't worth reporting - because they're not gonna pay for it anyway....and THAT is one of biggest reason why insurance companies have deductibles in the first place. Now, if your bill was $800, then you'd just pay $500 and the insurance would pick up the rest.

ya i understand what a deductable means thats why i said since my repairs should only cost 450, i tech cant report it, to insurance, and even if it was like $50 over my deductable it still wouldnt be worth the increase in my rate lol,i mean my mom used to work for allstate lol! but why i did report it to the police and insurance was cuz the kid i got into the accident with was saying its my fault, and he wanted me to pay for his damage, which when the police made a report, was only 200 for him and 500 for me(thats what was estimated by them) i just reported the accident to insurance cause therse no way in heck im payin for that kids damages, especially when a cop told me when 2 cars are backin out of a parking lot, and they hit, they usually just say go your own ways...which is what they said, but the kid is so persistant thinkin i did it, he wont let up, (actually, cuz he hit ME, hes just sayin he was startin to pack out of the spot first, but when he hit me i was stopped, soo he wa just tryin to beat me outa the spot and felt bc if he was supp. out first that he had the right of way) regaudless, even if he still saw me coming, he shouldnt of continued to back out if thats the case....idk idc lol im just glad i dont have to through insurance, because i know it could of been ALOT worse!

ya, so corporate stinks! they took over a week to get back to me when they told me it would take 3 days, and told me twice that my dealership would be contacting me,which they never did! the guy who was handeling my case i guess u could say told me that the dealership said that since they allready replaced the rims that theres nothing corp can do, and that my dealership made there final decision and corp said they cant overturn my dealerships final decison, so i asked the guy if im just supposed to live with my screwed up rims now, and all he said was "sorry"! im really dissapointed in scion!

Be persistent with trying to get your rim situation resolved. You shouldn’t have to be at a loss just because this dealership isn’t competent enough to put on rims without scratching them. Until you have 4 rims scratch free, they haven’t done all they can.

Sorry to hear about your accidents. For a no-fault accident with minimal damages, insurance companies usually don’t try to push their case very far. It usually ends up costing them more.

So your second accident involved 3 female drivers…. j/k.

It’s not uncommon for people to get into consecutive accidents. They get so worked up over the 1st that the stress causes diminished driving skills. Just try not to worry too much, you’ll get things worked out.
