I'm in Houston and I already place my order on a new 06. From what I know because I as the dealer to be straight forward with me when it will arrive and when I could drive it home.

My 06 is here at the port today because my dealer just email me with my VIN number. He estimate that after putting in all of my options, it should be at the dealer sometime next week. This is the first delivery of 06 into Houston. I just happen to be lucky that the dealership that I brought it from is the dealer that is going to get the first 06.

Also, I found out that 06 start from the West coast then toward the East.

today looks bad for good pictures, it started raining. I'll get the pictures as soon as the rain stops and I can get some good picture taking sun. i am here for the team.
I will get the pictures on tonight... it is a bit cloudy but, i think it will work. I believe I can do the CSM SSM pictures too.

moriarty- thanks for posting side by side pics for the comparison! I'm glad I have IIP, not NB. IIP looks so much better!

there is not much of a difference between the two. the IIP looks a bit deeper and richer. I like that one better.

The only difference I see with the SSM and the CSM is the the CSM is a little bit darker. again, not a big difference. If i saw one on the streets i probably wouldnt know which one it was.

YAY.. only a few more days untill I have my '06 tC.. i had ordered a FM '05, but they are recieving an '06 FM tC, so i figgured what the hell, $200 on a $20,000 purchase is nothing to flinch about... especially since i'd see it in taxes if i waited untill july.. (city tax is going from 8.75% to 9.25% on july first)

i would say you still need to see the colors in person... just like every other color scion offers, pictures never do them justice.

Well, the 6-CD changer used to be a $449 option as far as I remember. Now, you can spend $200 less, get an iPod with the savings, and instead of swapping/burning CDs you could carry your whole music library with you and play it in your car. Yeah, Scion really screwed up that one!

Last time I checked (when I bought mine last year) the 20GB model is $299.99, and the 40GB model is $399.99. If you are a college student, you can actually get an additional discount of 10%, which means you would pay $270 for a 20GB (http://www.apple.com/education/hed/s...discounts.html)

So basically, instead of paying $450 for a CD changers, for about $100 more you could have an iPod + hook-up in your car.

Default New Rear Tail Lights for the 06

Has anybody been to the scion website as of today? In the build your own section theres an exterior option for "Rear Tail Lights by TYC". They look pretty hot on the little pic above the 3d car model however I can't get a close enough look at them to make a true judgement.

Since the Mini and Ipod share the same dock connector I assume the mini also works?

On second thought I did get a close up look at the rear lights and they're... ___. I'll stick with stock, thanks!

I am pretty sure it does. I have never heard of any accessory working with the iPod, but not the Mini. I would ask the dealer just to be sure 100%.
