ALLLLLLLLL-right-eeeee!!!
Yup! So I picked the car up on Saturday, and finally met moriarty and his partner, D...(I don't remember moriarty mentioning his name, so in case D'd prefer it stay relatively anonymous, I'll just use that)! They're just as cool and helpful in person as they are online and on the phone.

When I got there, D points out the car, and says, "There's your car." And I was struck again with how nice the tC looks, magnified by the "wow, that's gonna be mine" feeling.
we all call him d anyway....

I actually took it apart and fixed the problem. (see, i do rock hard)

Anyway, so I was trying to vary my speed on the way home... a couple of songs at 60 mph, then 70, then 80, then back down--with drifting sometimes, and then once or twice creeping up to a peak at 90 before immediately letting it slow itself down after that.

The TRD shocks/struts/springs combination was a little stiffer than I'm used to, but I'm fine with that.
you will get used to it, then you will never be able to go back.

you'll get the hang of it. you should come out for some of our "meet and drives"

It also adjusts for road noise, say, in highway vs. city driving. The feature works well, at least from all my driving today!

3) The iPod upgrade is great! Being able to control the ipod from the steering wheel and the head unit is really nice. Er...it would sometimes be useful to pause the song as it's playing, but I can't seem to find a way to do that. Am I missing something?

4) When parking, I get a lot closer to curbs than I realize I am... not sure what that's about...maybe 'cause the bottom of the window is a lot higher on my body than when I'm driving the volvo (88 240 DL)? Maybe it's fatter than the volvo, too, but it doesn't seem significantly different.

5) There's a minor rattle going on somewhere behind the driver, I think... I can't be sure yet that it's there, or where it is, though...'cause I've been having too much fun with driving, windows/sunroof open, radio goin....

6) The sunroof doesn't open quite as I expect it to... It seems to stop on its own partway along opening or closing, even when I'm holding the button down... and once or twice, I seem to have managed somehow to get it to open most of the way kind of automatically, by pushing the switch somehow and letting go. I skimmed through the manual, though, just in case it is supposed to do that, but I didn't see a section about the sunroof...maybe I simply missed it?
EDIT: I found around yoursciontc.com forums that it's supposed to have stops in it. Plus a tC manual page number to refer to (page 26). I'll have to go re-look.

So there it is, the report from the end of day 2 with the new tC.

Oh, when I got it, it had about 20 miles on it. Now it has about 320.
:-)

i am so glad you are happy. you know where to find us if you need anything. also, give me a call if you need help with that quick shifter. i have a guy who could help you out on that.
