Default Spots on the Driver seat?

OK...so I was cleaning my car the other day and I noticed a bunch of spots on the left side of the driver seat. They look like grease stains, but I NEVER eat in my car, and I know that I never spilled anything on it. An no one else has ever driven it. Does anyone else have this problem? should I try to have the dealer fix it? Or do you think they will make me pay for it anyway? It cant be seen when i'm driving because my leg covers it, but it looks dumb if I show my car to people......

I doubt the dealer will clean it. unless you recently had work done on the car at the dealer, then you could say that they stained your seats its worth a shot.
good luck

They're just water spots, just use a fabric cleaner they'll come right out. I had them too from water dripping in while it was raining.

Was there a gap in the roof, or was it your fault the rain dripped in? How did it get there?

Nah, it's just from opening the door when it's raining. Isn't much you can do about that.

Get Tuff-Stuff from Wal-Mart, used it under recommendation. Works fine.

i've found that it's when the water leaves "hard water spots" on the fabric.. all i do is take a wet rag get it wet again and then make sure it's dry.. either a hair dryer or pressing paper towels into the wet area to make sure it gets dry.. the spots disappear..

Good tips. I, too, noticed a bunch of water spots on my seat after opening my door while raining, but I'm glad to know they can be removed. Gonna keep some fabric cleaner with me all the time now... (cargo tote now getting stuffed - filled already with Meguiars Quik Detailer, Interior Detailer, towels, glass cleaner, etc...hee hee. I do a quick interior detailing almost everyday while stopped at red lights...)
