Cool Cold Air intake

So I'm debating in whether to get K&N CAI or Injen?

Anyone have either one can I get some feedback in how you like it ?

I've been debating on a CAI myself. The problem is everything but the TRD is hit or miss on if it's going to throw a CEL. Think I'm going to throw AEM an email and see if they've finally fixed their newest variant. Their original one came with the MAF up higher on the tube about a foot before it attached to the engine then they have the electronic piggy back version and there newest looks like it has the MAF located right where the filter attaches to the tube and comes with an extension for the MAF Sensor.

Ya that's Short Ram though. I don't like the look and a guy posted here the other day he got a CEL from one.
Could just be from a leak or something though. Most people say the Short Rams have no issue.

Edit: Just checked it was an Injen SRI.

You know what's funny I got a filter and tube from pepboys for about 30 bucks. The filter sits up top while the tube comes out from the front bumper and connects to the front of the filter for a ram port. I can feel the difference especially when it's cold out and it whistles when I drive, awesome sound. And since the filter sits under the hood and the tube only connects to the front of it, I have no issues driving even in the heaviest of rain. Air gets rammed in but not quite strong enough of a suction to pull the water up to it. My buddy with a k&n set up wanted to trade me which I thought was funny. Good luck in finding what you like.

I had the injen CAI a year ago. Sold it because it of the CEL causes a lean condition.
My Takeda Intake is coming by the end of this week I hope. Takeda makes big claims with theirs.

Hopefully it'll live up to it.

Please post your opinions once you install it and have driven the car, I may have had a leak when I installed it and the car wasn't shifting right and just not running good but I reinstalled it and it's running better, only driven 65 miles since I did that, made sure to unplug the battery while I was doing that

Yes everything but body is exactly the same. Real problem is finding one that won't throw a CEL. I think AEM newest revision fixes the issue but they haven't emailed me back.
Companies don't like to admit that they make new revisions because there was a problem with the old revision. They just pretend it was never there and ignore people.

Yeah, that's what I saw. Just wasn't sure because it looks like the TRD Intake changed for 2014.
