greddy turbo kit.

return type fuel system. was told by a few builders that it's better to have with high boost applications.

eta mid-summer with all mods installed. just sent the pistons to swain tech yesterday for coating and once they're back and the head comes back from the p&p/valve job, i will reassemble the motor. i will also post pics of the work fast times did to the block so that the rods would clear. plan is to do the swap, flywheel and lsd first. after breaking the new motor in for about 1000 then turbo intercooler goes in. last will be methanol kit. since this is pretty much a custom build, we figured that doing it in phases was the best approach. after performance is done, then coilovers and chassis braces and last will be body.

pistons are in route from swain tech. should be here early this week. still waiting for one six motorsports to do the p&p and valve job. promised time was 2 weeks and it's been sitting on the floor for 3! Installed koyo radiator last week. greddy turbo arrived last friday. still shopping for intercooler. spent nearly 6000 on the this build so far. when all is said and done, probably run about 9000. crazy huh?

it saddens me to know that the 1NZ is a wet sleeve design... but oh-well, wasn't meant to be a performance engine anyway...

ahh screw it, bore that biz-nitch out! throw 45lbs of boost on it and let it scream!

i do believe he's running about 0.030 over alright from what xa007xa said earlier in this thread, think he mentioned that they are 75.5 bore which would be 30 over.

So the new wiseco coated pistons are 75mm stock bore. So whats the comp 9 to 1 or 8-5-1. The stock comp pistons is 10 to 5 to 1. And I see you have another set of 10-1 75.5mm pistons.

How much for the pistons just in case one of my friends want them. Your notched block and coated pistons look great. Is there anything wrong with the other pistons. I think you were saying earlier in an other thread or post the pistons need to be sent back it Wiseco. Something was wrong with the way wiseco made them.

i got the pistons as a package deal. the guy was planning to run nitrous setup and thats why he went 10:1. the problems i had were with the rods. crower claimed that they changed the design and that i had the old design. i sent them back and they said that i have the current design. thats why i had to have the block notched. the pistons im selling is short one ring set because they sent (3) 75.5mm sets and one 78.5mm set. set runs 20 bucks from wiseco direct.

hey, something i remember hearing about a while back about the valve-train. there's a specific Yamaha bike who's valve-train can be slightly modded to fit the 1NZ and increases the top end capability incredibly high. i think i deleted that PM some time ago but i strictly remember something about that. let me see if i can't find some on it for ya.

here you are, call these guys about some valve-train upgrades if you'd like. seems it comes from a Honda bike, not a Yamaha.
