Built motor update(final Greddy results pg.3, img pg.4)
what size injectors are u using? are u using the auto scaling feature in ultimate? what model year is your stock ecu? can u email me your ultimate file?
I just got my custom 3" exhaust done but my tuner tuned it before the stock ecu learned the fuel trims and had to dial my boost back down to 10psi.

I also run with my o2 sensors disconnected, this allows for a proper afr when entering boost partial throttle because the emanage does not have o2 spoofing. You can always connect them back up for emmisions. Another option is to wire in the Greddy spoofer into the ecu p&p harness so it targets a specified afr entering boost still utilizing factory o2 sensors.
That is the only advantage the FIC has over the Emanage but many don't know you can still spoof the o2 with the emanage (with sperate Greddy spoofer).
If your fuel trims are going crazy, your tune is not good or you have a sensor reading inproperly.
As for injectors, I think I recommended for you in the past to get 550's http://www.ptuning.com/html/Item-Des...9&ModelDesc=tC these would be perfect and drop right in. Do you have 440's now? those may be fine also. My idle is on the rich side, the 625's are a bit overkill for the tiny turbo, but tuned fine other than a rich idle. 550's would yeild better results and should provide plenty of fuel up top.

i dont have any issues with my fuel trims now. i am running celica gts injectors that are set up at 270cc in EMU and it runs perfectly in closed loop. I tried running the 440cc injectors before the 3" exhaust and i had all sorts of problems with fuel trims. Im using a PLX devices wideband o2 and with the stock exhaust, i was sending a narrowband signal to the ecu from the PLX UEGO controller. That may have added to the fuel trim issues i was having. But with the new exhaust, I had a 3rd o2 bung welded on so that i could reinstall the stock o2 sensor and send that to the ecu. It seems to run better in closed loop now. My wideband just sends a signal to EMU and my gauge.
In Emanage Blue, are you using the auto scale feature for injector sizing or are you leaving it be and subtract fuel when youre not boosting?
It looks like im going to need to run the bigger injectors if I continue to use the auto scaling feature because i cant add enough fuel after 12 psi to keep my afr's below 12.5. I just dont know if i should try the 440cc's again considering all of the problems i had in the past.

What is the record currently?
What do you mean standalone fuel pump? Are you talking about a external fuel pump set-up?
Direct port on a plastic intake mani? I know its been done numerous times but really isn't the ideal for a build of your caliber.

there is no official record. But to my knowledge it is held by Horizon motorsports in their xB. 12.9 I think? It's on here somewhere.
And yes you are correct! I attempted to drill and tap a spare intake manifold tonight and it is waaaayyy thin. too brittle. So tapping the throttle body is what I will do. No more direct port set up. dang now I have 3 extra nozzles

Justin, guess you missed the Weapon-R manifold sale, they had the sheet metal one for $350, would have probably held a tap or at least could be welded. I'll be coming over to PTuning in March for a tune on the Garrett GT2252 if you'll be at the shop and wanted to see the setup. Do you think the auto trans could hold 150 whp? I'm hoping the switch to AEM will help the tune for an auto, it will at least have the pressure sensor then. 365 had it dyno'd on their auto @ 138 on 8 psi, but I think it was a Dynopack.

I think he meant this one from Scion Crew

It works, Im suprised nobody has tried it yet in their tC's.
That is a sugestion, but nobody has done it in a Scion. It worked for me in Nissans though. Drain a quart of ATF and replace it with stop slip.
We can tune it for whatever you want! It is up to you, will this motor be stock or did you get the built one in yet? and what size injectors? We can always tune it for your goal considering no issues are present, and if you ever feel the trans is slipping too much you can turn the boost down.
Thanks, not trying to thread jack so I'll keep the details short. The engine's always been in, it never left. I'm doing my own assembly, had to put it on hold for fall college courses. Block was sent out to be bored and I still need to send out the rotating assembly for rebalance. Other than that I just need to notch the last two cylinders and then (slowly) re-assemble checking all the tolerances.
Turbo won't go in until the motor does, and it will be on the tC injectors. I don't want to eat another stock motor, they take too much down time to swap. Will be using the Turbo XS high performance manual boost controller for tuning, I might try the lucas oil, I think at this point I'll be tuning for thr transmission more than anything else, should be interesting to see.

im running 6.5 psi on my car and i ran a 16.2 with a cracked manifold
lol. so i couldnt brake boost, and it was dropping off top end. those are some crazy numbers though. i cant wait to go back the track now that i fixed some issues, brake boosting at 3lbs chirps 50+ lb 18" tires haha, and ima throw my 15's back on for the track.
i guess i missed it, but your motor must be built right?! lol.

With the tC injectors on the Greddy w/ stock boost, i wasn't even cracking 80% duty cycle for 130 whp. To be safe though, I think I'll leave the boost stock for now on the Garrett @ 8. It was tuned w/ 550cc but I didn't want to drop another $400 just for injectors, so we'll see how it does, maybe go up later. Won't be hitting 150 this way but since I'm not racing don't really need it.
Well guys I just wanted to update with a final quarter mile time.
13.6 @ 104mph
I was suprised I pulled that trap speed, I actually crossed the line faster than the Horizon Motorsports xB ( by .1 mph) lol . No way was I able to pull a 1.8 60 ft. though.
