Default What voids the warrent?

I installed the grounding kit in my car and I was wondering what type of things do void your warrenty and would the grounding kit void the warrenty? I am partly wondering because I built the grounding kit using what I found in a forum in here, exactly the way he said to and I was driving today and the check engine light flashed one and off about 3 or 4 times before finally going off again and I wanted to make sure before I think about getting it looked at if I should take that grounding kit off.

Take it off just in case. Especially if your dealer is not mod supportive.

yeah I probably will to make sure, even though they will probably have some way of noticing on their computers that I did something to it between the time I had it and the time I gave it back to them, hopefully though they won't have any real proof or the ***** to ask

There have been some xB's, including mine, with faulty ECU's. They cant tell you had a grounding kit on, unless you scratched up the nuts, or connectors on the battery. Before you take it in though, try disconnecting your batery again. While disconnected put your foot on the brakes to fully clear the ECU. If this doesnt work, take it off and bring it to the dealer. The ground kit should definatly not cause problems with your car.
