Good news-I've decided to go ahead with the first production run of Xd intakes. Each will have a serial number, inlcude instyallation instructions with photos, new intake gasket and all the necessary fitting and vacuum/waterlines required for installation. The first production piece will be photographed, tested and verified by a forum member before any sales are processed. I will post photos of the completed production intake as soon as they are available-please don't ask for a ETA-the intake will be completed asap and we hope to have the production run ready some time just after the end of NOV. Thanks for the support.

oh yeah baby! #7 of 10 please, haha. richard, put me on the list for the long tube headers if you decide that route - respectable price and gains of course

zefoxe: since these are going to be serialed, maybe we should arrange the list according to what serial number people want?

I'll change it for you. If anyone else wants different they can let me know. I'll be sticking with 1 and Castrex said he was happy with 2

thanks, zefoxe!

well, i personally dont know a lot about the smog regs down in california, but probably not. it'd probably fail the visual insp. (if you guys have that?) though, we dont know what the production piece looks like yet, and how stock it may look with some black powder coating/paint and the engine cover installed

as far as functionality is concerned, it should be just as good as the stock manifold when it comes to smog testing, otherwise im sure we'd be seeing a CEL.

Though I haven't tested one at a station, I suspect that it woudl pass a sniffer test, but we would need to have 40-50 orders to justify the cost of the smog certification process. Arrange the list as you want so we can ship to the appropriate owners. I hope to test a long-tube header when we are in the process of making the first production piece. I may be out of action this week for SEMA show, but we'll be getting on the yaris and Xd manifolds right after that.

I'm strange and want #13... If it goes that far, otherwise, I'll take #4 or #8 ;)

I actually don't care... but yea. Will gaskets be provided? If not:

Manifold to Block Gasket:
17177-0T020

Throttle Body to Manifold Gasket:
22271-0D051

I can provide =P
