How many are being made? I'd love to commit, but not sure it'd make sense to since you're putting money on the line. I am going to try and save up, seeing as I definitely want one..

i think richard is making as many as there are people who want one, not sure if hes making extras... but, hes not asking for any money down, and isnt going to charge anyone until the final production piece has been made and dynoed, as well as verified in person by a forum member with pics and or video...

as castrex said earlier, the commitment list on this thread is subject to a final production unit meeting the advertized claims. we are commiting to buy an intake manifold that meets the original claims of Dynatek.

richard, any chance we can get pictures of even the incomplete production piece as it comes along?

.... So, do we have a forum member local to Richard or willing to drive there to check out the first manifold?

I guess in the next couple of weeks he will have the first production unit ready for us to inspect it.

I don't expect him to do much if any advance this week due to SEMA.

So that means that you will be willing to take the drive eventually when the first unit is ready?

Seeing as its a 6hr drive from San Diego, I assume the place is either in OC or LA County. I wouldn't mind being the test subject for this. Also, I wouldn't keep the manifold Don't want one. Though I don't mind being the R&D car

Richard's shop is in Las Vegas. And indeed he has an xD of his own. So the purpose of the trip will not be for R&D. And is not a requirement neither for him to move on with the production.

Richard INVITED any member willing to go there to go and check the first production manifold. Take pictures, video for the rest of us...

They have an In House Dyno (How cool is that?) so the member going there, will probably have the opportunity to witness the dyno testing and all...

Default TEASER PICTURE from DYNATEK

Richard just sent me this picture to share with everybody. And a good example of the QUALITY we can expect for our manifolds.

This is a GM LS1/LS2 manifold they have just finished and will be exhibiting on SEMA this week.

Of course this is nothing like ours but is an amazing example of the work he can do.

I didn't even noticed the header...

It looks pretty sweet! Not sure if is his or not though.

Soon after we get the manifold done you can bet I will be bugging Richard for a Long Tube Race header! I can see it happening early next year.

The headers on the LS2 were from Kooks. I actually have an Xd which will be used for the production intake and long-tube header testing. I can have someone come by to verify the back-to-back tests but they won't need a car-we have that covered.
