Battery relocation: up to end user on where and how to do it. I will not be offering a kit.

How the DP and manifold routes, you have to move/relocate wiring harness then wrap in gold foil heat shield.

Will each kit have to be custom tuned or will pre sets be sent along with the kit?
Every car needs to be professionally tuned. No matter what it is.....never buy a kit with a basemap. Its just a band aid. You wont ever get the full potential of your kit with a basemap. You can use a basemap to build off of though. Not always a good idea, but thats the only time a basemap is useful.

If you CANNOT AFFORD or do not have the resources to get your car professionally tuned....

DO NOT BUY A TURBO KIT!!!!!!!!!!

Regards-

Todd
was a simple question, don't have to be obnoxious about it...

Does this kit come with the programming you guys will be using to have it tuned? (AEM FIC i believe?)
I dont mind have it tuned by a shop but I much rather have them something to work off of that is known to work rather then pandoras box considering the popularity of the xD.

Nice!!! Just one question.... How accurate are these gauges? I know glow shift gauges are known to be inaccurate.

Most of what these guys are saying is true...

dont cut corners....for 98% of the people on this board.

I have customers who buy the correct fuel management, install the kit, think they can install the fuel stuff later....blow there motor and its my fault.....but....

You can use the REFLASH and the injectors(410-440cc) and a small wheel T3/T4 (or a GT28rs for convos sake) at no more than 5 psi and have an awesome tune/powerband.

It actually works well on the stock ecu as well..just dont boost more than 5psi.

I have a car here in AZ thats been running now for almost 2 years on the stock ecu and 440cc injectors at 5psi on a GT28RS and it runs like stock and is a blast to drive.

I dont like promoting it...but it does work and so to answer your question....YES

Regards-

Todd

Hmmmmm... My turbo XB2 runs like stock and is a blast to drive w/o EM @5psi with 440cc injectors. Gonna bump it to 6-7psi after I get the water/meth installed, as long as wot afr stays at or below 12.5:1.

Yelosub, when you get your car back can you take a picture of the guages, from the drivers seat, roughly where your head is while driving. I have been thinking of putting gauges there as well but and wondering about visability...

I read this entire thread. Does anyone else see the ridiculousness here? This "company" is jerking this guy around for HOW long?! I would be ____ED! Maybe the victim is being docile because he doesn't want to anger the guy tinkering with his car? It is clear that I would NEVER buy any sort of turbo kit from this charlatan - he is clearly a tinkerer without any head for business. Does he realize that his BS delays and stalls are being posted in front of potential buyers? If he does... DOUBLE reason not to do business with this guy.

I have never seen someone accept so many BS excuses! Man up, victim - you are being taken for a ride by a tinkerer. This guy may eventually give you a faster xD, but I will NEVER buy from him - no matter WHAT he produces - the guy is NOT professional.

I believe the reason there is a delay on this kit is because it should of been my car. imnot even close to 1k =/ lol

This model is still a completly new car in the market. Theres barely aftermarket support for this car so of course someone is going to have to work from scratch and "tinker" abit.

Everything else aside, the biggest thing that bugs me about this is the he quoted a month to do this work.

This post is to inform everyone that has been following along that unfortunately my turbo journey has officially ended...

On Saturday, my car was brought back to me by Todd with my parts in a box...I can not continue with this project with an unforseable end completion date...I also can not commit any more money to this project when I have already paid what I was told it would cost...Due to recent problems with another vehicle that TT had sent to the tuners, not an xD, Todd told me that he had to pay a large amount of money out of his pocket to pay the shop because of un-forseen tuning problems...I had already pre-paid Todd my dyno time however Todd called just prior to when my car was supposedly headed to the tuners and told me that if they run into tuning problems that the shop charges $110 an hour and that he would not be able to pay it...Therefore, I would have to come out of pocket even more money than I had already paid Todd to have this done...J

Just for the record, I had already paid my entire portion of this turbo journey in CASH...Another set back was the fact that I had to rent a car (almost $500.00) after returning my car back to Todd just recently because the Nissan Versa that he was originally letting me use he returned to the dealership...

Todd is a nice guy but made promises that were not meet...Some things were not in his control but some were...I delivered my car mid April for what was to be 1 month project...During the 3 month project, I was told I would be sent pictures of the project along the way so I could see what was happening...Even after numerous texts from Todd saying that he would be sending pics at certain times, I never once received any pictures which had me concerned that things were not getting done...If Todd wants to succeed in his business, he needs to work on his customer service...Don't make promises you can't keep...We all know he builds a quality kit, when it gets done...When it gets done is the ultimate question...

This is not a bash Todd thread...I don't believe the forums are the place for it...I have told Todd my feelings over the phone and he knows where I stand and I know where he stands...

Anyways, when Todd delivered my car he brought my turbo, intercooler, BOV, and my powder coated piping...He however forgot to bring some of my stuff that he said he would bring... The turbo, piping, and BOV all look incredible and makes me sad just to look at it...So damn close, yet so far away...

I will be posting my stuff up in the classifieds when I get the time to snap some photos of it...

End of story!
