I haven't been able to feel the difference at the track YET, but...

This bar makes the car just feel so much more stable on the highway. I'm dropped on H&R coilovers with a progress rear sway set to the stiffest setting. It was pretty unstable at high speeds before. I was going to make some adjustments but after adding the bar the car feels much more planted now. Every Ingalls product I've installed I've loved, simple as that.

Stable is deff the correct word. The easiest way to explain to someone is .... when you go into a turn and the car leans .... w/ this bar .... the car leans a tad but just takes the turn flatter (less lean) .... sometimes when I take turns and fly past people because im still in control when turning ...they look to see who the hell is able to pass them so smooth.

Great point. The Tc is a hatch back with a glass roof. You have lost chasis (sp) rigidity that would be there if the roof was solid and we had a trunk not a hatch. This bar helps bring some of the strength back to the TC's rear end.

I must say, if with that pain in the ___ install going through two drillbits and one drill it was worth it. Even with stock suspension the car feels much more solid and stable. I was suprised at how much body roll was reduced. Theres still plenty left but the amount it eliminated is alot in my book for a $160 piece of steel.

Just tightened up my brace again to see if I can get some more performance out of it. It was great before, but I never got the chance to tighten it all the way.

One thing is bugging me though. One of the bolts slightly bent the part of the frame closest to the exhaust. The other side seems to be tightened all the way, but did not bend the frame. I'm hoping I don't have one side much tighter than the other.

Also, regaurding the drill bits, it is much easier to use a 'sizer' or pyramid drill bit, made for cutting metal. Widen the hole first underneath the car, then switch to a metal drill bit for the other side of the bar.

Of course, that could be why that part of my frame 'indented.'

It might depend on what model of drill you're using, too :D

Ok, cool.

I've been driving on it for a couple of days, and it--the full suspension--still feels great.

Better than when I installed the Ingalls brace without tightening!

I may have to upgrade my front brace soon, though... :D

that goes to show you that a 4point rear strut bar is better then a 2point.

Yes the more points a brace/bar ties together the better the results! Now we need to get more owners to step up to the plate and just buy this bar. Several Ingalls dealers are doing a rear bar and stiffy etd combo for around 300.00 shipped

After a few weeks you forget you even put the bar in, you get so used to it. I'm sure if I took it out, I would definitely miss it. but yeah, if you've got the right drill bit you can install this thing in under an hour.....definitely a good buy.....

I was thinking the same exact thing. I have no clue how my car could not be the way it is now (since i have had it on for so many months now) --- but when i put it on.... I was like "WWWWOOOOOOOHOOO" hehe
