pwnage right there, lol.
But my knowledge on the aem is limited. Maybe mecanicapito can chime in....
It has been done exactly like that on AEM with numerous brands of Water/Meth systems but I don't recall seeing a wiring diagram as clear as the one posted by B_Real45. Having a diagram that good can make things very easy and trouble free

Omg, lol.

It would help if you read the manual.

G-d knows I went through it a couple of times, lol.

I believe to tune the cams, you need to play with the values in the map called.

PWM 3D Map

Don't quote me though. As I have yet to tune the cams. Which will probably be done by a competent hydra tuner, given I have the built cylinder head in place with bc cams ^^

I do know a dyno is required though. So don't tune it without it. You need to see more area under the curve. To see the benefits of whats going on. From my limited cam tuning understanding >.<

You can get away with tuning the fuel/spark with the datalogs, and the knock sensor voltage readings, temp readings. But on the street isn't safe obviously lol. Dyno preferred.

Unless you wait till like 2am, and datalog on an empty stretch of street, lol.

i've been reading and i've been tuning got the tune down pretty good thank god for datalog. but i haven't gotten through the cam tuning. i did read on the hydra forums that someone with a miata tuned there stock cams and gain alot of top end. i was just trying to figuer out x and Y i think its Load & Rpm. hopefully a hydra tuner can come on here and shoot me some clues on what to do. I can take it from there LOL. Also how about the timing this sucks when your in the adjustment screen you can't see true timing like i had 20degrees on that screen but in my datalog it showed 14degrees. but oh well atleast i know what to look for. hopefully i can get this tune down so i can go to the track and get real numbers. can i say HP66 and 1200cc injectors and 20-25psi pump gas and 63%duty cycles sweet OH yea 100% NO knock i'm still playing with timing and boost. Keeping afr's around 11.3. I really want to throw the Q16 in and let it rip but i want my pump gas tune down first.

the only way would to put the factory o2 in the car and tune it just for that so no codes pop up in the obd

But piggybacking the stock ECU will throw EVAP and O2 sensor codes that will not be correctable in an OBD2 plug-in inspection. I tried it with the AEM here in NYS only to fail.

That is really the only way to pass, not much chance of doing it with standalone ^^^

Hey Ace, what size injectors are you using?

And would you happen to know your PID values? and timing at idle?

lol

I'm trying to do a little comparison, between different people with hydra.

Because my idle blowssssssssssssssssssssss.

^^ you still have my map? im using 550 only but my ignition is the same on the map i sent you.. the only changes I made was the fuel map.. I idle 14.7-15.1 when hot.. how is the interval of your map configured? maybe you need a finer interval on your rpm vs load map on the vacuum area if you know what I mean

Oh yea, I completely forgot I had it, lol.

I'll look over the values on your map.

You know, it hadn't crossed my mind to do that, or to reconfigure the rpm/load interval.

Yes, I know what you mean

I'll try that later tonight.

Thanks bro.

Oh I forgot to tell you. I do recall playing around with the Enrichment/Enleanment values, a few months ago. I don't what I did, but every time I would switch gears, the exhaust would Fart

So I had to reload the original values back in, lol. I think it was because I lowered the Enrichment values tooo much.

Just an FYI =)

Oh I have like a lil pop at times when I boost and then off throttle, and yeah I do get some backfire on my exhaust at WOT on 1st.. I posted on hydra forum and one of the poster (mrcontrols) said he usually set his enrichment coeff. at 0, I tried mine at 20 and it still hits 10, maybe its my main fuel map or my throttle sensitivity enrichment

It could be one of those.

Dontcha love a standalone? =D lmao

mrcontrols is really knowledgeable.

I wonder why he sets the enrichment coefficient to zero though?
