boosted tc compared to other current, OEM cars
Driveable, Comfortable, Reliable + Power for my DD any day....

But nonetheless, there is no "right" and "wrong" in this scenario. It's just what you prefer.
Since I really do not know alot about boosting this might seem like a stupid question but.....If the speed governor was removed, would a turbo tc be able to acheive a higher top speed than the current 127 or w/e it is?

Yeah, your car especially. Your car is FAST, tons of power! I love seeing the look on people's faces when they see you autocross and hear your BOV lol. Sorry, didn't see this post before, but yeah, I autocrossed yesterday.
and knocking the new genesis for the wrong reasons i beleive the build quality on the new hyundai is out of this world for its value shut the door sounds solid interior very nice i want a genesis buddie is evo4b11 swaping his with a gt35 going to be a fun time hoping for about 450 whp and a whole lot of fun
Come on though....it's factory turbo and it still runs 15's in the 1/4. Can't overlook that for the sake of interior.

I test drove the 2.0t, and never got the chance to drive the 3.8. My first reaction after driving off the lot, was "where's the boost?" 3300lbs and 185whp just isn't all that exhilarating.
Reason why I'm not getting one. What were they smoking seriously. I can see if they left a lot of room in terms of tuning the motor, but that's not the case either, as it can barely hold any significant amount of power unless extensively modded. Perhaps I'm prematurely passing judgement, but I'm just not seeing it in the 2.0t.

And at 3300lbs its still slow. It would be great if it was just a little lighter. I decided to just hold out for the FT-86 instead.
thats what i was saying i thought the 2.0t was on point with the v6 but instead it turned out to be slow and heavy cant wait to see the first big turbo swap on one
how much power can stock block take?

I have a feeling Hyundai has a little something up their sleeve for the FT-86. Something along the lines of a ~290HP 2.0L, 30+ MPG re-vamp for the Gen Coupe.

The V6 on the other hand, I have no clue.
I haven't seen a 2.0t over 280whp, so if you could find links to some 500whp ones that would be great.
Did a search for 500whp Gen Coupe 2.0T. Couldn't find one, but did find a 344whp one. Mods:
New turbo kit w/GT30r turbo
New Intercooler
New Fuel setup
New Downpipe
New Cat-back
and an AEM FIC.
Basically everything was changed.

You sound unimpressed....LOL. I know I feel the same. I expect more from an already factory turboed car. But take a look at the MazdaSpeed3's. Same thing with them. Their fuel setup is an Achilles heel. They blow up REAL easy, which is retarded for a factory boosted car.
