hmm... hopefully belt thing will be taken care of soon...

minor oil leak is on the list of priorities to fix... but definitely not at the top right now.

Let me try to sum this post up and let me know if I'm right.

Your supercharger caused a problem and your engine blow up. The dealer wouldn't cover it and wanted almost as much as a new car. Then you got another motor and some other goodies and put it back together with the supercharger. Now the supercharger is causing more problems. Does that sum it up?

that is correct up until the point that the S/C is causing the problems. Not sure if its the S/C or not, but my belts are getting destroyed and as far as the oil leak, im pretty sure whats causing it, and its not the S/C.

I think it's time we all just accept the indisputable facts. Mike's car is alive and she hates him. I use the female third person because we all know girls nurture their hate and anger with a great deal more subtlety and over a much longer period of time than guys. And of course, because guys tend to think of their cars as female.

Anyways, the source of the hate is unknown. Probably it was because Mike was test driving other cars while his was in the shop. Obviously, Mike's car is angry at him for stepping out on her with other younger, faster cars.

Alternately, it might not be Mike's fault. His car might just be severely traumatized from her stay with the raping, pillaging, ham-handed geniuses at Dublin Toyota / Scion. As such, the car suffers from PTSD and lashes out at Mike inappropriately.

From looking at the 3rd picture, it looks like something is bent, but it could've been the light or the angle, I couldn't tell when I was trying to look at it.

Here are the pictures

Take a look at the red circle

this may explain why my car is so "mean" to me

i blame Dublin...

i think the car might still be holding a grudge since you first took her there... where everything went more worse... trauma from the rape they did maybe...

is that just the blue paint chipping off the SC pulley or is it a little roughed up? If its roughed up maybe theres something on the inside of it wearing the belt down. But that one dent that you circled looks like it could be the culprit too.

Well it's been a few months now and it doesn't seem like Mike's (equinox's) car has re-exploded yet. However, I've noticed that he hasn't been thrashing on it as hard as he used to. Dublin Toyota/ Scion undoubtedly "modified" Mikes pulleys a bit when they were "evaluating" his car during their warranty investigation.

We are all awaiting the inevitable grinding sound of more bad SC stuff happening
