The TSB's are already out......there is one for the hatch rattle- which I actually think worked, cause I don't hear much out of the back anymore. The other its literally called on my service receipt the "Moonroof Rattle" They take off you head liner and add a felt kit to parts of the roof and then reasemble it......unfortunately it totally fails to have any impact on that rattle......
I will say that though, that of the threads I have found here on SL I've managed to knock out my- console rattle, my glove box rattle, my hatch rattle, and the rear latch rattle......The only reason I don't think I can safely work on the roof rattle is because I have the side airbag system and I'm worried about creasing the headliner......otherwise I'd be up all in there tightening everything down.

hmm.. do you have the link or the tsb number for the hatch rattle and the console rattle??? i went to the dealership and they say they couldn't find any tsb on either of those. i have a 2006 scion tc.

i actually tore down the headliner in the rear passenger side and padded every rib i can get too. it did signifcantly reduce the noise but it's still there once in awhile.

and about the console rattle... that i don't know what's up. i taped down every pin to tighten it down so there's no movement and still, i hear this constant creeking noise. i'm not sure if it's the harness behind the clock or not. and i'm NOT talking about the squeaking radio door cover.

7thgear....hmmmm, I dunno about the console rattle. I found a thread on here that explained where to put the tape (which you also did) but it really helped a lot for me. I also ziped tied the hell out of all the wires back there, Electric taped everything to excess, and added a little one sided foam to any part that could be suspect. The only time I here a sound now is the first 5 seconds of turning the AC on, but after that its fine. I found that when you take out the console and hold it, and try to flex it one way and then another its a little easier to find where some of the noises come from...

I'll look through all my car records, and find that tsb number for you for the hatch rattle...
...ok, I just read it, basically it didn't list a TSB #. It just says"99 ISTP 51-Adjust rear hatch latch and bump stops- recheck ok"

As for the rattle in my roof - I'm like 95% sure its coming from dead center between the two sunroofs. If you look at pics of the roof with the headliner off, its the thick black crossbar that houses the two flaps that cover the the glass. I think if I can just get the thing out and tighten it up, I'll be home free....

I'll post if I make any progress....
