I ordered NB and same thing...weird

 

waiting on my sw tc 5-spd. checked with my dealer and said it was in port and should be in around the 28th. everything is still on schedule from what they told me..........for now. can't wait to go pick her up and hoping there aren't any surprises.

 

from talking to the dealer, the '06 TC's hit the west coast ports first, then east, and then are distributed everywhere in between. thats probably why its taking your dealer longer.

^def, i waited a month for my SW TC. They told me 1 week, but that didnt work out. I was going crazy, but its all good now.

 

got my 06 today, it is soooo sexy.. took damn near 6 weeks, and i had to upgrade from an '05 to an '06 (oh shucks right?),,, well good luck to all you buying scions

Ooooh! mine arrived in Sacramento on Wednesday, and all the goodies are being installed... I'll hear soon about when I can go to pick it up...which will hopefully be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week.

This is sooooo exciting! and it's driving me batty!

And ya know... as crazy-making sometimes as it has been to have this thread to check in on throughout the day, every day...I think it's been great to know and hear about everybody else going through the same sorts of stuff. In other words, thanks for bein' part of the thread.

moriarty was the most on-the-ball, knowledgeable sales guy I'd talked to. When I called SF scion originally, they just didn't know as much about the 2006s even coming out, I don't think... though somehow I don't think I called them till rather late in the game... After I'd already put moriarty to work...I think... memory's hazy now.

 

I'm in San Diego!!!!! And i got my 06 FM tC 5speed manual this past Tuesday June 21st

 

My '06 is on the ship from Japan as we speak. June 1st was the date the 1st 06s started hitting the ports.

The only differences that I can find between the 05 and 06 are the 2 color changes, the audio controls on the steering wheel, and the iPod compatible stereo. I could not order a 6-disc changer on my car. Sirius Sat Radio was also added.

The accessories remain pretty much the same, however they have added tail lights by TYC that are killer.

We delivered three 2006 tCs this past week. All three were flint mica. We've got a 5 more arriving before the end of this month and a good supply coming in July.

 

called teh dealer, changed it to CSM for temporary so if i can't make up my mind, i wouldn't get NB ^__^

 

I finally got my 06 tC! SW MT, it was the first 06 at the dealer. And the only one that I could see. They had 2 RS xAs. on the lot too, but no other tCs.

My black TC should be here in KC in 2-3 weeks.

 

Who knows when a side curtain air bag will come, I can get one without and in black next week if I don't wait? At least three weeks I was told. Should I wait or get the color I want? My car just died.......poop........ fine......kicked the bucket
