sorry I came across this like, 3 months too late but here I go! People always rag on audiobahn but they have never used their products, or the ones they have seen/used are the lowest in their line of products. The subs that you see that come in the audiobahn box are crap! I had an Audiobahn AW1500Q, their 15" excursion woofer, with my MTX6500D (my birthsheet said 697RMS @2ohms 12.5v) hooked up to 2ohms in my integra and man was it loud!! Also when I turned the sub out down, it sounded very clear, even though it was a 15. I just bought the same speaker in 10" for my new tc, and i'll be putting it in this week. Audiobahn has great products, you just have to but their upper level models, but every manufacturer has ____ty and audiophile models available, except sony (when it comes to car audio). ____ on Audiobahn and I will ____ on your face!

 

I have the flaming audiobahn 8" sub and I'm very happy with it. I've always used kicker though, the old, not square ones (comp). They are nice.

 

Well, I went with the Kicker KX1200.1 mono amp. Found a deal via ebay. So it looks like Kicker will do.

 

How do the Kickers sound? Is it a nice clean bass? I personally have 2 12" Audiobahn AW120T's with a Kenwood HU and 600W Kenwood amp and it hits harder than my friends 2 12" Kicker L7's with a 1200W Kicker amp. Anyone who says Audiobahn is crap either hasn't owned any or has an incorrect setup. I am very satisfied with my Audiobahns. It's all about the way you set it up.

 

i have 1 12" kicker solobaric in my ride..in my opinion, its perfect..to me, kicker is underrated by consumers, but high on the list for competitions.

 

yup. kicker is lound and clean.. no doubt about it.

Yes jdaniels has a very nice list of equipment, but unless you have done installs for
living or you really try out as many products as possable you are most likely bassing your opionion on what your buddy says is good or not. Personally i would have to agree with Autosound AB has a great marketing idea and their prodoct is good for the money As far as the Sony STAB I buy choice run all Sony in my xb
and a good many can tell you it does great( it is the 2003 western regional sony champion in best video and will pull down mid 130's with just a single ten.) At the same event a car with 1 read that 1 sony xplod 15" pulled down 154 with just a burp. So as a far as woofers go just select WHAT YOU LIKE ON HOW IT SOUNDS

their woofer line is designed around your needs w0 woofers will work just as well as
a w7, Now before you reply just read W0 OR KNOW W1v2'S are for systems with low to moderate power W3v2 are for moderate to mid power W6v2 are for mild to high power W7's are for high to extreame power. With that said let me give you all an example just because the best woofer you sell is a W7 is tha the best woofer for your needs Most likely not, a system with W0 or the new W1v2 will perform as well if not better than a W7 if you do not design your system correctly.I JUST USED JL as a example all brands for the most part use the same marketing tools.
