It could be that a few of the exhausts, or maybe even just the mufflers..... have a defect in the welding. Because only a small number of folks are notifying us of this sound issue.

Phillip did push it to full throttle and hit the rev limiter during the filming of that video.

I NEED VIDEO! :-) That way I can email it to Thermal who makes these kits for us, so they can see/hear for themselves. If we need to send you out a new rear muffler per our warranty, then we will do that.

Im committed to keeping our customers happy.

Thank you very much Draxas for your continuing customer support. I will be looking for a way to get a sound clip so I can send it to you ASAP.

Get the video to them because if you are sure its not a heat shield ...then something might be broken. There is always a slim chance something did come loose. .... we are all human. I love my exhaust and know that draxas will back you up if there is something wrong.

I got some video today. Sounds the same as TTURedRaider311. Here you go:

http://media.putfile.com/Draxas-Exha...erks-Headers-4

http://media.putfile.com/Draxas-Exha...erks-Headers-3

http://media.putfile.com/Draxas-Exha...erks-Headers-2

http://media.putfile.com/Draxas-Exha...erks-Headers-1

Hope it helps. It sounds even louder when the exhaust is cold. Those videos were after the car was driven for a while.

Thats exactly how mine sounds with the AW header as well. Very tin can-ish. And yes, it is noticably louder when cold.

jwaggz92, the increased airflow with an aftermarket header will change the sound of the exhaust dramatically, usually for the worse. I'm sure the Draxas exhaust with the K&N CAI sounds great and nothing like all of the videos.

thats what i figured - .... its pretty much the main reason why im holding back with the header. I want the extra power but will not ruin the nice sound im getting getting w/ the K&N & Draxas combo.

Does Draxas have anything to say about these videos? We rushed to get videos posted, but haven't gotten any feedback yet. There are at least 3 of us that have the exact same sound coming from our exhaust.

Yes, the header is altering the sound. Draxas is trying to figure out why a few customers are complaining about their exhaust sounding bad. I was looking for Draxas to make a response to the videos.

It's been over a week since the videos were posted... Draxas needs to at least acknowledge that they have seen them... It would be nice to know if they are working on a solution or not.
